• Slam Bar up for sale

hi,

does anyone have a view on why the slambar is up for sale? do any of you rate the bar or have any comments on how it could be improved?

Been up for sale for ages, Jossi just couldn't make enough out of it.
Trouble is with so many bars & restaurants in the town now he said he just wasn't getting the business other than in July & August. In winter it's like a ghost town up there.

When we first arrived in Carvoeiro in 1980 it was with the intention of opening a bar. On researching it deeper we found there were a huge amount of bars in a relatively small area. We decided if we were to stick with the idea of a bar it was going to have to be something amazing or totally different, as there was just so much competition. After much heart searching we ended up opening a completely different type of business further inland. Still find myself reflecting on what would have happened had we stuck to our plans, but money was so tight we couldnt have afforded the gamble.
