My daughter is allergic to egg and cows milk which makes eating out problematic at the best of times, not least when you're unable to speak the necessary language! I would be very grateful if there's anybody out there who could translate the following into Portuguese, or it's chips for her for a fortnight!
She is severely allergic to milk and egg and cannot eat any foods that contain either of these -

So sorry she has such a severe allergy. Must be real difficult for her, no dairy, i.e , cheese, milk and milk based products, yoghurts shakes etc let alone no cakes, biscuits, many breads cos of eggs and lots of other produce produced out of the home cos they add milk base and or eggs to most things. God no choccies, and even no wine or beer when she grows up. How does she get along re injections and some medication as they are mainly egg albumen based.

We've kind of got used to it really - reading packets just becomes a way of life and I have to cook 'from scratch' rather than use convenience foods, which is actually healthier for us all. She's actually had other health problems which have put the whole allergy thing on the back burner - and meant that she hasn't been able to have all her immunisations as yet. Things seem to be on the up - thus the holiday, although I fear for the excess baggage costs with our rice milk cartons etc!

Standing on the square facing the beach, turn left and head up the "Estrada do Farol" past the taxi rank. Follow this road for about 250mts and take the left road at the "Lanterna Velha" Restaurant. The entrance to the market is aprox 50mts up this road on the right.
