Try the little shop next to Aladdins on restaurant hill, they've started doing shoes. Try keep the business in the village, it is better for all of us?

Steve, different is not always expensive....

The shop that bife73 mentioned has some lovely "different" designs and not that expensive at all!
I found one or two handbags that I liked, all very reasonably priced but the hubby thinks more than 1 handbag is too many....

Keep it local and look around. There is far more choice than a couple of years ago. My wife (Jan) reckons the prices are favorable with Shoeworld and better designs. Came back with two lefts instead of the usual pairing last year

There used to be a good store in Portimao. forgot what it is called and I think it is Rua St. Isabel. Designer shoes, haven't been there in a few years - not sure if it is still there.

She's telling the truth - I do buy her handbags . . . . . and then she goes out and buys shoes to go with them

Now here's a topic
Last year I got fixed up for Ladies Day at Ascot in Algarve Shopping. I purchased a dress from Ana Souza (?) and my shoes were from the shoe store across the dress shop. Both were the bees knees and I had loads of excellent comments. Highly recommended.
