Hi all,
I suspect the following shall sound slightly surreal, but please bear with me.
A couple of years ago, I was in Carvoeiro with friends. At one of the gift shops on the main road leading out of the central square (not up the hill), I bought a small stuffed donkey toy for my six year old back home. She fell instantly in love, and has since gone nowhere without it.
Of course, you'll probably see the next thing coming: she's lost it, and is absolutely distraught. Right now she is searching every nook of the house in the hope he may turn up, despite the fact that we lost him in Morocco.
So, my question is: are these toys still sold in Carvoeiro? I know it's a long shot, but you never know
The toy was a donkey, approximately the size of a tennis ball, dark blue / black. He had huge floppy ears with a pink lining, a tail, and was loosely stuffed with what felt like foam pellets. His eyes were made from one piece of hard plastic. And he is actually quite cute.
Obviously I don't foresee anyone roaming the town in search of these, but just in case anyone had spotted one, or ran one of the shops, both myself, and Zoe, would be massively appreciative if you could let us know.
Many thanks,
Tom
