All I can say is, have a smashing time, and I wish I could join you for a drink in Columbos. We have had many a drunken night in there. Give Marcus and Pedro a hug from me.

Hi, Only been to CAV once last June at footie time, I now work in Peniche up North but going to Car for the weekend before I start work. Whats on and where is Columbos,

Hiya Big Al (& welcome to the forum)
Colombos is next to Smilers bar which is on corner opposite the beach square...and right by the taxi rank. You can sit at tables on the pavement or go down steps into bar & restaurant,

We won't be able to get there until 1st May, however I'm sure that we'll drop in for a lovely meal and one or two drinks. Unfortunately, it has to be soft drinks for me as I'll be driving, our apartment is in Portimao.

Im sure Ive been in there, Im heading out on Saturday so will have a good look around. I did spend a bit of time in a cocktail bar up the hill past the ice cream shop. Great veiw of the sea and cocktails that went straight to the head...

I had very nice cocktail there, bought me by Roy4 and Carol
(can't remember name
) but it was big one!
or theres bar/rest. further up,is it Tia Tildas or something? Although Ive never been here, theres amazing sea view!

Hi, Ellie... Rascals could be the name but Im sure going to check it out.. Unfortunately I have only 4 days in Cav as I need to start work on Wednesday therefore a drive up North is needed on Tuesday...Its not too bad (approx. 3.5 hrs).. Just thought Id get a bit of relaxation in before my 3 week working stint (nothing too do with the cheaper flight costs) ha ha. Take care and thanks for replying
