Having a lazy half hour this morning--I got to thinking of all the folk on the forum, who will be going to CVO in September--there seems to be quite a few as I recall--- we see the names regularly on here and I expect you, like myself -, get to wonder --what do they look like?
I do have some images that I put to the names--though I do know what some look like --having seen their pics on chat--
But I like to have a guess at others--
Di from Berlin --tall& blonde (whyis she not on here anymore?)
SusanDawn --I know shes brunette--as she told me so.
Loretta ---I imagine petite and dark
Irish fellas Rod-Mike(swingdingy) have some idea but not Gerry (he with the wolfhounds) --do they all have the twinkling Irish blue eyes?
Pammie?--- Only Pams ive known have been blonde
Heini ?-- she too I see as dark-haired.
Cowboy? --well---hes got to be deadringer of the famous Cooper(Gary)
Sandy/Gordon?--is "sandy" from Sandra --or is it from the hair?
Of course all these folk wont be there in Sept. but I still like to visualise and i will come armed with note pad & pencil to sit unobtrusively(of course) to take notes and try to guess who?
I forgot--Mike (chislehurst) will be there with his Jan-eating bacon butties at Rocha Brava -mm-- might take a littlewalk up there---just for a spot of lunch of course!

Hi Sandy---so im guessing name is Sandra ?---I know you hail from Bonnie Scotland--does Gordon have a kilt to go with those good looks? Imagine you have a tartan?
We have one--H comes from the Macpherson tribe--and coat of arms is outstretched hand in welcome--but other one has a raised chopper! Not so welcoming!!
here youll be on chat--welcome--Elle.
Why didnt my "wink" work on my message?

I'll be there beginning of Sept, and now I know to look for pettite blonde sitting quietly in corner with notepad and pencil, and drinking (let me guess) "only orange juice"

Well Richard----not so sure about the "petite" bit--can 5ft 4& half inches and size 12/14 be that ? maybe not! If its during the day --it would be a fruit juice--youre right with that one--eveningwould see me with a glass of red or maybe a white wine spritzer--well-I wouldnt be able to see my notes if i was on the heavy stuff!
Oh come on Mike -- not one little "give away" of you & Jan please? Just to satisfy my curiosity? Perhaps you will be the only two eating bacon& tomato toasties --is that it? Mind you ,they sound good --might join you!
Dont really blame you for not giving description-- I intend to wear big hat and shades myself--or will that be too conspicuous d'you think?
Whatever --have a great time, Elle.
We have a latish flight on the 6th--from Gatwick--arrive Faro about 8 I think.
Never flown easyjet-what are they like?

Right Elle, I am dark haired with some grey in it. Won't be there for a while yet though, if at all this winter -I might go down to Texas and visit "cowboy" instead. I was thinking along the same lines, there are so many posters and some of you even live in Carvoeiro, it would be neat if we could recognize each other. I know someone previously suggested T-Shirts, but perhaps Steen could sell a button at the Ice Cream Shop saying something like "I love (the heart sign) Caroveiro.com". Then we could talk to each other and find out who we are, or hide the button if someone approaches that you rather don't want to get to know.

heini...the idea of a t-shirt or button has got me going...how's 'bout...'CVO..afford it or leave it."..or, "CVO..who want's to leave it", or "CVO..beware of local drivers", or "I post on the forum..no guests allowed", or " Cowboy showed me Austin, and all i got is this lousy t-shirt".....

Never seen Irish wolfhounds with twinkling blue eyes, maybe Gerry can enlighten us. My eyes are usually red, especially from the 18th onwards, when i get there

Would that be "redlight" red-----do they light up when they "home in " on a good full-bodied red?

You will have to elaborate, so everybody understands:
"I am a guest, I expect to be accomodated comfortably. Catering to my needs and making me feel welcome is my God given right. Even if I behave like a total twat and tear the place apart, I still expect people to apreciate me for what I am - A guest."
How about:
"carvoeiro.com - can“t we all just be friends?"

What do others think Gambrinus and Steen look like?
...Steen - tall, blond and scandinavian - probably bearded?
...Gambrinus - bushy eyebrows, also bearded but dark or greying?
I think we regulars should be told!!
Sandy
