Hi
Does anyone know anywhere near (or in) Cvo where you can get phones unlocked. OH went to TMA today in Algarve Shopping, but was told the wait to be seen was one hour (even before he could find out if they could do it or not!) - so he left.

I wondered if there was anywhere in Lagoa that may be able to unlock phones.

Many thanks Kiss FM - Jim has managed to sort the phone out with your able assistance! He is back over in Feb so will take the phone and see if it works (as we are with TMM it does not work in the UK so we can't test it ...)

Hi, I've just bought my wife a Samsung SGH-E250 mobile phone and she would like it unlocked so she can also put her English sim card in when we go back to the UK. Its currently got a TMN sim card in it. Can anyone at Kiss FM offer this service for this particular phone or does anyone have the name and address of the phone shop in Lagoa that does it?
I've looked on the internet but nobody seems to be offering unlock codes for this particular phone :(
Thanks,
John

Paulo Rocha a local in CVO can also do this for you, if you pop in to Hemingways they can usually contact him for you as he lives near by

Slightly off topic, but we were in CVO earlier this month and my wifes phone would not work. Mine was fine & we are both on O2 network.
We are regular visitors and she has never had a problem.
The phone says 'Can't register SIM'.
Has the global roaming been inadvertantly switch off?
If not, what could be the cause?
Dave.
