Christmas trees.........

Any tips about the best place to buy a Christmas tree?
My daughter and I went to look at imitation ones on Saturday, some of them were quite life-like, but not like the real thing.
I suppose one that is in a pot might be a good idea, so that we can plant it in the garden once Christmas is over.
Any help appreciated,

We have just bought one from the AKA store in the new portimeo retail park they had a fairly good selection of imitation ones and the prices were ok as well. Lights and various decorations were very good as well, a good selection and if you wanted to make your own Christmas Crib they had all the bits and pieces for this as well, although not my cup of tea I thought it was a good idea.
Various christmas ribbons and skirts for trees as well.

We have a blow-up one that sits on the TV while we're over at Christmas. Come the New Year we deflate it and put it back into the cupboard until we return the following Christmas

Ive never seen a 'blow up 'Christmas tree(though seen a Christmas tree blow up !
)......seen things like Mr Blobby and dolls .....!
But wait a minute, the mists are clearing....its all coming back to me. Way way back, a pic of Michael swimming in pool with something green?

Thats the one! Blimey Michael, how long you had that tree? You're almost as 'tight' as my late great uncle Bill!!!!!
He used to keep all of his small change in old toffee jar and covered with a teatowel.....
At Christmas, when my bruv & me visited him, if we were 'lucky' we would get...wait for it.....sixpence ! Yeah!
..
then the toffee jar was hastily covered up again!
Ebenezer Scrooge had nothing on our uncle Billy
p.s. Mind you I have to say that your blow up tree is unique..never seen anything like it before
