Hi , I had never done any diving before except 1 try dive about 10 yrs ago and did the POW course there. I will probably go back and do the Advnced course, after getting a bit more experience under my belt.

Did you find it difficult to pass, I have my Padi OW Manual and DVD (which I got today) so I am going to read and watch these before I do my POW, really looking forward to it but a little apprehensive as well. I did a Dive about 10 years ago in the Dominican Republic but noting since.

Was not difficult but you have to complete a few excecises which the instructors demonstrate and help you with untill you are comfortable with them. As I said before the instructors are excellent and safety is the key thing

I think there's another school called Divers Cove. Is that one any good?
Likewise, I did a try dive about 10yrs ago in Barbados. Since I've bought a plave near CVO, I thought maybe I'd give it another go. I'll be in CVO quite a bit over winter. Will it be too cold for diving?

just got back from CVO had a great time, did my Padi Open Water at the Tivoli Dive Centre, they were great, ended up having a 1-1 course as there was no-one else doing it. Couldnt dive in CVO at all last week as the visability was 0 so we ended up going over to Bugaro near the West coast as the sea was better there, ended up doing a reck dive on my 2nd Open water dive which was really good, learnt lots from the Tivoli guys, so I can highly recommend them to anyone interested in doing it.
