If you were Mayor for just one week, what small (or large) thing would you do to improve this little town ?

Here's my starter for 10:

I would ban Neon.

While acknowledge the onslaught of tourism, the charm of CVO is being eroded more visibly by the excess of Neon signs than any other developments and building works

Start up a park and ride.

Ban men walking around around bear chested except on the beach.

I take it that bare chested women would still be allowed !!!

I think they would have to be vetted first I'd change the spelling to Carvwhereo so I could spell it.

Actually the similarity of physique is spooky (although my wife might disagree !) - However I don't have a beard

Ahem. I'd sort out the graffitti issue and place decent loo facitilies on all majorly used beaches.

Clean up the area around Algar Seco where on the cliffs the local "fishermen" discard their waste and I mean all types of waste ! on the cliffs. The rock pools were a disgusting mess last time I visited in May.

Ensure that there is at least one member of the GNR in tight tousers, long boots, pale blue shirt and mirrored shades standing in the square for the ladies to admire. Soory, just my humour

...oh and another thing whilst I'm bleating on....if I was mayor of Ferragudo, I'd ensure the lifeguards of Canieros Beach did their "waiter-service" from the end of May instead of from June / July or whenever. It's an absolute treat

I agree, but they should also extend it to the end of September.

Yes I agree we need to see more for us girlies as there is more than enuff for the men to look at. Beach lifesavers scantily clad and the others in shiny boots, tight trousers and hopefully arms showing a nice muscular bulge and off course a firm behind to match never enuff

but wheres the bulge? i have a bulge but thats only through beer

Muscly arms that show through the shirt, thats the bulge I mean, not beery ones, although if well shaped, not to bad.

I am in shape, round is a shape...

Suggestions:
1.What about getting rid of the tourist train?

2.Get the elevador da Bica and the elevador da Gloria and install them on Monte Dourado and cardiac hill.
