Hi all,

We are driving down and leaving the UK on the 13th Sept., and intend to make a holiday of the joourney and take 4 days to get down to CVO. I used to be for my sins, a trucker, I used to drive regularly from the UK to Lisboa (that was back in the genuine TIR days 70s and 80s, I used to use the Madrid ~ Badajox ~ Elvas ~ Lisboa route. (then spend 3 days in customs!)

I don't know whether to drop down from Valladolid to Salamanca then come in via Villa Formosa or drive down from Salamanca via Caceras then enter Portugal at Elvas.
