Coming out on Sunday 27th for two weeks - cannot wait. The weather seems to have improved over the last couple of days looking at the web cam!!
We were over the same time last year so i am hoping for the same sort of temperatures that we experienced then - extremely hot!!

Counting down the hours now until we are at Rocha Brava!

I am in England at the moment for 2 weeks. I return to Carvoeiro on 29th and I have to say, I can't wait either! I am only here to visit people. I miss nothing else. And isn't the weather in the UK absolutely awful!

I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I will enjoy my return!

Yes Misty the weather over the last week has been poor which seems to be what Lesley has been reporting from CVO too ( evidenced by the webcam).

Once again I find myself irritated that some people cannot seem to big up one country without pouring scorn on another.

Sorry but grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!

Looks extremely hot out there today - not long now until Sunday morning flight out there.

Nice to see sunshine here again today but i doubt whether as warm as Carvoeiro!!

According to scientists who have done an exhaustive study, Spring is getting earlier in Europe. But it is more the case in countries like Spain, where the average temperature has risen the most. In Scandinavia, where the temperature rise is less noticeable, Spring is not advancing in the same way. Wonder how much they got paid to work that one out?

Yeah I heard that one Laser..well you could have fooled me with the very late spring we had here this year eh? Long winter and very cold spring..everything was late coming into leaf.
But listening to that report, they tell us that here in UK, we can expect ever hotter months of June/July?
Who do you believe and as you say, how much did it cost us for them to work it out?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to being in CVO week after next..to breathe in lovely sea air, wriggle the toes in warm sand, walk the clifftops and simply 'chill out'
