Ihave been to Zoo Marine several times with my grandchildren, I think every day will be busy at this time of year. We always take some food and drink with us, there is a swimming pool there as well soyou will need towels etc. if you want to use that. It is a great day out you will really enjoy it I am sure.

It will be busy but not so ridiculously over-crowded as Slide and Splash.
We took our 7 and 2 year old grandchildren last week and they had a great time.
The food is not great and there are long queues at peak times - so take sandwiches. The chicken piri-piri (Riberinho) opposite the exit is very good for a meal at the end of the day - open from 7 p.m.(Zoomarine closes at 7.30).
The crowds thin out from 4 p.m. onwards when the coaches start to depart and it is then easier to get on the rides.
Use the pools (2 childrens and 1 adult) to cool off but remember to take your own towels.
Have a great day.

Thursday is a big changeover day (about 75 flights in and out of Faro) so try that mid morning or earlier.

We went yesterday (Tuesday 15th) with the kids, arrived about 11am, absolutely packed out, if you want to see the shows whilst sitting then arrive at each one at least 30 minutes before it starts, we arrived at the dolphin show 15 minutes before and every single seat was taken, including all the standing room at the back, so ended up sitting below the level of the show in the 'wet' seats ! It turned out quite a good under water view though. The food we found to be quite good for the money, ribs and chips for 7 Euros, or chicken piri piri and chips for 5 Euros, with plenty of seating. The best time to go on the rides is whilst theres a show on, and don't forget the park is open until 7.30pm, with shows up to 7pm, we used the pool until late into the evening, sun shades/beds are available to hire, and it definately gets quieter as the day goes on, have a great time, even though its very busy its still a good day out. 8)

Yesterday was an unusually bad day for you because with the weather being a bit iffy a lot of people went to the shows and algarve shopping rather than the beach.

The roads were also chaotic to such an extent that I arrived at my Vale do Lobo clinic 20 minutes late from Carvoeiro.

Hope you enjoyed it nonetheless.

It is a really good day out, we're going next week as well. We went twice last year. The second time we got our tickets from the travel shop near the chemist. It worked out cheaper plus we didn't have to que to get in. Have a good time. My little girl got picked last year to be in the dolphin show, she was three then. Absolutly fab.

It is a great day out, with good extra facilities, like the pool etc. Regardless of the weather its as busy as any other day in August, apparently weeks 2,3 and 4 are the busiest weeks of the year for the local attractions, allow plenty of time for seating before each show. The major roads with motorways an exception have been the busiest I have known them for 11 years of coming to the Algarve, but still not as bad as the UK ! :)
