It is a simple matter for the tax authorities to search sites such as cvo.com, see villas for rent, see the values being asked, see the online booking and avalability charts line and calculate income earned. From that is is a short step to see if that income is declared.

The tax department has declared open warfare on undeclared income and all owners would do well to ensure their houses are in order in respect of income earned this current year.
