Round up Saloon
Hi Guys,
Just joined the forum and returning to Carvoeiro 14th April for golfing holiday after missing a couple of years.
We regularly visited Will and the little bar across the road, what would be your recommendations for Restaraunts in the square.
Does anybody know where we can get Wild Boar I had this many years ago and have not seen it since. It was cooked on the stone and served with cheap champagne on draught!!!
Can anyone help?

Wild boar is served at a restaurant in Querença, they do wild boar, venison and lamb among other things. I can't remember how to get there but it's sort of behind Loulé up in the hills, spectacular views.
Tel: 289 422 540 or 912170471
Closed on Wednesdays
If you don't book make sure you get there early.

Round up
Well, I for one hope that Will does continue to be around, whether it be as owner, co owner or in whatever capacity. We need lively characters such as he. I have spent many a good evening in the Round up and with what now thankfully appears to be unfounded reports of the Jailhouse changing hands, there was at one time danger of two of the villages most popular musical spots under threat of change.
