Hi,

Will be arriving soon.

Wonder about availability of English language books in local or regional libraries? Also internet availability at libraries?

The former might at least save us hauling reading material across the world.

There is an English section in the Muncipal Library in Lagoa ( in the square next to the church). However you will find a large choice of books at very cheap prices at the charity shops at Monte Carvoeiro and in Lagoa.

If you are staying in a rented villa or apartment you usually find owners and previous guests have left books behind, if you take one leave yours in return.
