True Stacey, its a bit like a works canteen, but a set meal with Wine is about 8 Euro's, you can have seconds and more Wine at no extra cost, but beware the Wine is not for the faint hearted. 8) I've know weaker paint remover. They do have a seperate bar which you can get beer at quite a reasonable price.

Well, as the price implies its pretty basic, Chicken and Chips, Steak and Chips, Pork Steak and chips, you get the picture.
I have to admit I haven't been for ages, but you can have a good nights craic up there as its usually v busy, alot of the Ex Pats use it.

Prato do Dia is the phrase you need, I don't think they speak v much English, if at all. :D You can't really screw up Chicken, but the quality of the steak is reflected in the price, so beware.

I will be playing Golf in Ireland when you are there (no doubt in the rain). so have a great time, don't forget to visit the Roundup, the best bar for entertainment in Carvoeiro :D

Hi Sam

Talking to Richard today and he sends his regards.

Re Escondidinho - two tips:- order the jarro wine (much better than the bottled stuff) and if ordering steak look for what knives are being used - ordinary knives = OK, steak knives = leather
