Re: Restaurant Marketing
Recommend a friend and they get 5% off their meal and you get 5% (excluding booze) off your next meal or similar. Something property owners renting their properties should be given.
Re: Restaurant Marketing
Tricky to keep track of - but I like the thinking.
How about a Bombeiros loyalty card - get about 10 restaurants involved with a sign on the door that they are members. You get given a card the first time you eat in a restaurant and from then on you have a choice of a discount (about 5%) or you can donate your discount to the Bombeiros. I bet most people would donate their discount but it is the unique gesture that counts. Would add that the card should probably list participating restaurants on the back to make sure the participating restaurants get maximum advertising advantage.

Graham
There are many worthwhile causes (with their own teams of coordinators) that could benefit from this type of fund raising - what has to happen to get them started?

Re: Restaurant Marketing
One of the co-ordinators needs to approach one restaurant and tell them that many others are interested. Get one signed up and the rest will follow - tell them it is restricted to the first ten to sign up and hopefully fear of missing out will make the 'sales pitch' very easy. Then you ask me (or CM) to print a few thousand cards FOC and off you go - easy in the UK, who knows how it will go in Carvoeiro!
