Wine Co-operative Lagoa

I was wondering if anyone has been on one of the tours around the wine Co-operative in Lagoa. If so, is it worth a visit and how long does it take.

..this is new one on me!
and no..I don't have shares in Lagoa's 'vinho' co-operative

..HIC !!
Incidently..I was happy to see the old garrafeira(cant spell it!)....Offy (Off licence!") being re--furbished & smartened up--new roof etc....round the back of our old apartment Lagoa,Dave. on the corner as you go up to market.
Alwyas bought the 'odd'

bottle from there...even though they used to regularly wake us up at around 2-3 am..with 'deliveries'!
Hope you get your info for the 'tour'!

Dave ...can I pick yours or others brains please?
Im struggling for title of new chapters and not geting anywhere!
I have one heading for each batch of chapters..those Ive completed so far are:
A New Life
Running a Business
Alone in Lagoa
Odd assortment (this is just a 'working' heading)
Other Side of the Track
Oranges and Lemons

This next batch is mostly about our first autumn/winter period.
Im stuck for heading.......any ideas please?I'd be grateful for any help.
By way..have you made any headway..regarding tour of Lagoa wine co-operative?

The old adega in the middle of Lagoa has been demolished, so there will be no tours there, except round the new appartments when they are finished

I think the other adega (caves dom teodosio) has closed, I heard the other day a large supermarket chain has bought it and are going to put a Pingo Doce there or something. Can't see it happening myself, but who knows? The only other place is the large building on the corner as you turn onto the Lagoa/Carvoeiro and I don't know if they have ever done tours, it seems to be closed most of the time! Maybe you should try Vila Nova Da Gaia they have loads of tours, I've never managed to go on one

but I hear they are very good.

I know they were still doing tours there last Aug/Sept. We enquired at the tourist info in the square but we left it too late as it was a bank holiday that day and we were going back the following day.
Where is Vila Nova da Gaia - that sounds interesting?
