Vila Nova Restaurant

Have had several meals there over the years but last Wednesday was the best, the food was super also the service and the bonus was the bill!(Very resonable), I do belive this restaurant to be very UNDER RATED., and is on par, if not better then many of Carvoeiros top restaurants

I think its magic as well - I'd be so disappointed not to go there at least once on our visits.

Ditto. Excellent food - usually go for fish, filleted at the table. Lovely.

I agree, we find it very hard to tear ourselves away and visit other restaurants, especially as its about 10 steps away from our apartment (4 on the way back)

Just got back from another trip to CVO and visited Vila Nova last Wednesday evening and once again, it was the best meal of the week.
Not only was the food excellent, but the service is first class. Always reasonably priced too - if you haven't been yet, you are missing out!!!

I agree - was amazed at the quality of food and the service. Another great recommendation from this website.

The restaurant is closed unfortunately until the lst March
when it opens every day but Sunday. Its very popular so booking is usually advisable.

Hi Tricky, do you know when Vila Nova restaurant opens again. 1st March is a Sunday so I presume they will not open till Monday 2nd March.

I would think it would be the Monday Dave, but I will be speaking to Isabel later this week so will ask.
I think I might make my reservations for the restaurant now for the whole year, it was so popular in 2008

We were planning to go over for a long weekend end of Feb, so will wait to see when it is open before booking flights.
