hi , can anybody tell me where to go to register my daughter in grade 2 ? We live in Boa Vista Carvoeiro . I want her to be in the closest , local portuguese public school.

Hi guys, i am coming to Portugal on the 24 June 2008 and would like to take my 6year old daughter in to see the local state school . Maybe even meet the headmaster. Does anybody know where the nearest state school is ? Maybe even a contact number and person at this school? Let me know ..Thanks

does anybody know whether a new pupil enroling at the state school with out any knowledge of Portuguese suffers so much in the first year that he or she probably has to repeat the year.I understand that the kid probably could do it if she/he was very bright but what about an average english speaking...
