WALK - MONDAY 14 OCTOBER 2019 - RIBBA A TORRINHA - CLOSED AS FULLY BOOKED

We had a very enjoyable walk in the open countryside and saw no other people, dogs, houses or cars. The rain held off until we were all inside cafe Casa De Pasto Riba Serra enjoying lunch. We had a couple of guys fall over on the walk (Russell and Nicholas) and a few people had scratches from the bracken but otherwise no major injuries. There were 25 walkers and 4 dogs. Ray and Ellen from Canada joined us for a 2nd visit, this time with their friends Glenn and Debbie. We had a good group of walkers and finished the 10kms in 2 1/2 hours.

There were 21 of us for lunch and the one waitress did an excellent job keeping our merry group topped up with food and drinks. We managed to give them a good tip and make 30 euros for the charity.
