You need a VPN service which is compatible with your iptv equipment.

Hi Colin
I have a similar problem....my Logitech Internet Radio generally works well on BBC Radio 4 , but if I try & get a Test Match on R5 Sports Extra ( even in UK!) I get an announcement that it's not available, for copyright reasons I believe.

Any help appreciated before the winter tests in RSA!!

We use SmartDNSProxy, set up in our router, to help with this problem.

Over the last few weeks BBC iPlayer on a Fire TV stick has proved a little erratic but other catch up services on it worked perfectly. BBC iPlayer on my iPhone also worked to stream programmes (even when the Firestick wouldn't) but didn't seem to allow downloads.

I'm unable to confirm if R5 Live Sports Extra is accessible in Portugal (though it certainly is through the BBC Sounds app in the UK).

Alf, search for a VPN services for your operating system, probably windows.
You could try one of the free vpns first to help you understand how it works.
Basically you set it to connect to a UK server, then when you load Iplayer it checks your IP address which shows up as a UK address, instead of a PT address.

If you can't install radio player app on your internet radio, you should be able to install it on your phone or tablet. It may then be possible to use the internet radio as a Bluetooth speaker.
Or come to Carvoeiro & I'll have a look at it
Thanks Colin, as plain as a pikestaff...I'm out on 23 October and will ask for an English translation, preferably a demo, then, please! Will you be there still?
