Security key cutting

Post by DaveK »

Anyone know where there is a good locksmith in Lagoa or Portimao please. I need a mortice security key cutting and the guy in the kiosk at Intermarche cannot do it. I tried our local locksmith in the UK but he is unable to obtain the blank; must be peculiar to Portugal. Don't really want to change the lock. Thanks.

An alternative is the locksmith in the basement of Portimao shopping centre.

Enjoy the Lincoln sun - it's turned awful again here.

Hi gunner. We are in the UK at present and are not sure when we will be in Carvoeiro next. Will keep you in mind. Thanks.

Hi Roy. Certainly not sunny in Lincoln today. It's turned awful here too; has not stopped raining since the early hours of the morning and forecast all afternoon!

Thanks for the information on the locksmith.

Just make sure that the one who cuts the new key doesn't cut one for themselves, just precaution like! 8)

Think they would be a bit disappointed if they did get in. Would have to get past electric coded gates and main door. Only a storage room key for towels, bed linen, our clothes, a couple of tool boxes and an emergency bottle of Gordons gin ready for any late arrival. Why such a key for an internal door?

I think there may be a part bottle of Constantino, but no Scotch. Sorry.

Lot of chitchat, but did you get the key? We found a v good chap in Lagoa......go through bus station, parallel to N125, past swiming pool and he's on the left just before you come to the T junction.

This sounds like the chap Les told us about, near the Financas. Drove round but did not find it. I will give it another go with your instruction. Thanks Geoff.
