From previous postings on the Carvoeiro Forum there have been suggestions that the Com Tower was to be relocated from Areias dos Moinhos next to the lighthouse at Rocha Brava. Mrs Santos and the Rocha Brava lawyers have been in communication with various Government departments and they have now received a written reply from the Internal Administration for the Junto, Lisbon. Translated as follows:

'I can confirm that, in accordance with the project of the SIRESP, any antenna of the SIRESP will not be installed next to the lighthouse of Alfanzina since the results of a SIRESP health study have shown it not to be an appropriate place ’.
