Chicken George

Post by suzyhowey »

Hi
I am about to go to Rocha Brava on holiday after a few years of not being there.
Can anyone advise whether Chicken George is still running? It has been a favourite of ours in the past.

Hi Carolyn, is Chicken George offering more than just chicken & chips on his new upmarket menu?

Hi Montyperera,
Menu is pretty much unchanged - main courses of chicken, prawns (they're new I think) and fish - with wine still listed as red, white or rose - 6€ a litre
Otherwise its all the same just 'posher' :D

Hi, haven't been to Carvoeiro since 2014 but am really looking forward to our 3 weeks in July/August. Firstly, I take it that Chicken George is still up and running? Secondly, does anyone know if he's definitely open on a Sunday evening? Thanks, Monty.

Take the road to Benagil from CVO/Lagoa. About 400 metres past the water tower turn left.

Or take the Rocha Brava road out from Cvo and turn left to Benagil at the end of the road just cross over the main road continue and CG is on the right.
