That's very good value - haven't eaten there for quite a while, must try it again.

I think this place is owned by the guy that used to run A Gale.

We tried it, but whilst the food wasnt bad, the place was virtually empty, and totally lacked atmosphere.

it is the same guy that used to run a gale,it was a bit empty when we went but it didnt affect the food!i take the point of lack of atmosphere but we went to la bella vita at club atlantico last night&there were only 10 people in there but the food was still superb.

2nd visit tonight.me&my other half both had the grilled tiger prawns in garlick&piri piri which consisted of 4 large tiger prawns each, with a plate of veg&a plate of chips, the prawns were very nice indeed.the total bill for both meals, the usual bread, pate etc&i small bottle mateus rose&a large bottle of sparkling water was 47 euros.the service was also very quick &there were quite a few customers in.thats what i call great value for money!

4th visit for the must have tiger prawns with a garlick sauce & again it was excellent.we will be going to this place every time we visit as the tiger prawns at €17 to me seem fantastic value ,4 big tiger prawns with salad or chips for me is good as i have paid more than that for 3 tiger prawns.

We're over late September too and Poço Partido is on our list of definites to visit.

The bloke still recognises us from when we used to go to A Galé and we always get great service.
