Plain but good food?

Post by MCN »

One of our group likes to eat plain steaks (or slabs of meat!) & chips without spices or trimmings etc... Any good quality restaurants that cater for this but still have a varied menu for others?

 The Steak House on the left hand side as you go up Rua do Farol (restaurant hill) do stone steak and chips, which you cook to your own requirements on a very hot stone at the table would be good to try, they also do a good general menu and the prices are not to bad either. We always go there while we are in cvo as we like the staff and the food.

You only have to ask at most restaurants, and I'm sure they'd cook you a plain steak, after all it's a lot easier
