Carnival
Re: Carnival
Lagoa Camara is also to receive zero funding from the national budget for 2010, so no chance of any repairs or further upgrades to the village this year.
The Algarve as a whole will receive only 59 million (80% less than 2002) with Lagos, Portimao, Albuferira Faro and Villa Real receiving approx 15m between them, and a massive 14 million will be spent on sand for renewing certain beaches. The remainder will be spent on cultural and other non essential projects.

Let's hope the Camara can afford it's liability insurance premium for any claims for injury.

Re: Carnival
Just got back and Carnival was good fun, the kids all looked great, shame about the rain though! the hog roast was washed down with beer and I think people just got on with it however the night time celebrations were cut short by the rain....Now then about the "crazy paving" the camera will have to do repairs as they really are getting seriously worse on a day to day basis, I nearly went A over T a couple of times (hiccup)
