Wireless Broadband

Hi,

I read somewhere that Rocha Brava was looking at a wireless broadband connection for the development.

Does anyone know if there's any truth in this or when it's likely to be installed?

My understanding is that it is something that has been raised with the management for consideration. However I do not think it is high on the list of priorities at present.

Apparently talks with Portugal Telecom are proceeding but it is a slow process - remember British Telecom before privatisation. Has anybody found a cheap mobile broadband alternative?

put in a query about this last month as the broadband is very expensive to use at reception. Was told they were looking into to it but had nothing to report back yet.
Wouldn't hold my breath. Should have free broadband at reception for owners - that's my view....

There is internet access at Helder's Tropical Bar, cheaper than RB reception.
