recent visit

Post by Kathy H » Sun Jul 27, 2003 5:24 pm

We recently visited Colina village after a 6 year absence. We returned because we loved the site 6 years ago - very clean spacious apartments, beautiful site, gardens, pool etc. The site is still good but unfortunately we were at the edge of the site by the road which was very busy day and night which spoiled any rest and relaxation
The restaurant on site was very good and all the staff very helpful and although the site is some distance from Carvoeiro it is walkable (but don't advise this in the midday heat - taxi instead, 4 euros).

This year was great. The Staff (Roberto etc) made it worth while. In earlier posts they recommended using plastic shoes at the swimmingpool (for children the sides could be slippery). Thanks for that. Our children wore them and didn't slide (all others did).
Colina is very clean, exclusive (altough not expensive) and a very good environment for children 0-14 (15> has no fun).
They will meet us again next year!
