Linda and Russell will be leading this new walk in a beautiful hidden valley with lots of baragems and wildlife. Just short of 8kms, one gradual uphill the rest reasonably flatish with a short section on an overgrown path. Usual rules apply: wear suitable footwear, bring a drink, walk at your own risk and no charge.
Meeting point: Cafe A Taberna at Alcalar. Meeting time: 9am. Then we drive a few kms to the start of the walk.
Directions to the cafe: Go West along N125, just after Alvor turning and Penina Golf turn right onto M532. Follow this road passing under a small tunnel and over the motorway bridge. After a few kms at a small junction the cafe is on the right and parking just opposite.

We had a foggy start and 2 water crossings and we must have scared the wildlife away with our 14 walkers and 5 dogs. The cafe was closed too. But we had a nice walk and lots of chat.
