Linda and Russell will be leading this walk from Cafe O Casinhas, near Silves. The track is fairly undulating, nothing (too!) steep, with minimal loose scree. The final descent is a bit steep. Lovely countryside, plenty of orange groves, nice views from the top. Distance around 8kms, therefore about 2 hours. Please bring a drink, wear walking boots or stout trainers and bring walking poles if you have them. Walk at your own risk and no charge.

It is ESSENTIAL that you indicate below if you can come as numbers will be limited to 20 walkers due to the Virus restrictions.

Directions:
From CVO, drive to Silves and go over bridge, turn right.
At the roundabout, follow the N124 in direction of Messines.

After about 400m, almost opposite the Galp petrol station on your left, turn right on to " Turismo Rural".
Follow this for about 2.5 kms, when you will see the Cafe Casinhas on your right. The cafe will be closed so if you require a coffee please call somewhere on the way.

If you would like to join us for lunch we have secured 12 places on 3 tables of 4 at Cafe Norinha which is a short drive away. They do a prato do dia complete with barbacued chicken or pork for 8.50euros. Therefore, also indicate if you wish to stay for lunch as there are only 10 more places left.
