We were blessed with Geoff weather...blue skies, sun shining slight breeze. 22 walkers and Alfie made the starting line, which is more than my camera did, so many thanks to Linda for the photos....and getting them to open early for coffee...and for organising lunch.

Because the bulldozers had been at work ( again) Russell led us in reverse, so up the steepest hill, with glorious views:

Unfortunately, we found a barrier crossing our route, which may mean it's the last time we could do this walk:

Back for a beer etc at the cafe, about 2 h 15 mins, so a shade over 8kms. The flowers on the terrace were beautiful:

and the restaurant did us proud with choice of wine, lamb, wine, pork, fish fillets, wine, baccalau, wine...you get the message.....drinks and lunch took longer than the walk.....and the great beauty is that we eat outside in the sun in the middle of November:

Another thanks to all for 20€ for the charity fund.....though I reckon my lamb was pork with figs, but it was delicious!
