south coast walks

Post by Redshoestoo »

Hello from Dublin,

We are regular hill walkers and we are staying in Albufeira for the month of November and planning a series of walks. I downloaded the pdf file from this site of Trails in Portugal. We plan to do the following walks:
Rocha Delicada Trail, Praia Grande Interpretation Trail, Sāo Lourenço Trail, Nature Discovery Trail of the Marim Environmental Centre, Praia do Barril Trail, At the whim of the tides.

Would anybody like to share any comments or info about these walks that might be helpful to us? Have any of these walks been affected by the fires earlier in the season?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi
My Algarvian walking expert says :

"I don´t recognise any of these, but they all sound to be well south of the fire zone. If they have found them on Wikiloc they should be OK. You can refer them to my www.onfootinthealgarve.com if you like! "

The website referred to gives details of lots of walks, usually 18-22kms.

Hope to catch up with you on the CVO Rambler walks.
