WALK MONDAY 19 FEBRUARY 2018 - CALDAS DE MONCHIQUE

The walk is around 10kms approximately 2 1/2 hours. Start time 10am. Meeting point: Foz Do Banho restaurant. The usual Geoff
rules apply, no charge, wear suitable footwear, walk at your own risk. There are a few steep hills and a steep downhill section on
uneven ground so bring poles if you have them. This is a grade 3.5 walk.
You can also join us for lunch after the walk for Chicken Piri Piri at the famous Café Imperio, approx 15 euros if you have all the extras.
Directions: From Lagoa: drive West along the N125 to the Monchique turn off at Portimao. Drive up the
N266 towards Monchique for about 13kms until you see restaurant Foz Do Banho on the left side of the
road. Park here. Please indicate below if you are attending and if you are staying for lunch.
