Linda and Russell have volunteered to lead this walk near Caldas De Monchique. The walk is around 10kms
approximately 2 1/2 hours. Start time 10am. Meeting point: Foz Do Banho restaurant. The usual Geoff
rules apply, no charge, wear suitable footwear, walk at your own risk. There are a few steep hills, therefore,
we feel this is a grade 3.5 energetic. You can also join us for lunch after the walk for Chicken Piri Piri at
Café Imperio, approx 12 euros.

Directions: From Lagoa: drive West along the N125 to the Monchique turn off at Portimao. Drive up the
N266 towards Monchique for about 13kms until you see restaurant Foz Do Banho on the left side of the
road. Park here. Please indicate below if you are attending and if you are staying for lunch.

"Hi Geoff and Sue,

Another fantastic day in the Algarve, although a slight bit of cloud, temperature a pleasant 24C and no rain. Nine people for the walk, all good walkers. We completed 10kms in 2 1/2 hours. Rose had a slight tumble, hence the bloody leg.

Karen, Wendy, Ross, Phil, Mike, Sue, Rose, Linda and Russell.

After the walk, Carol and her 2 x sisters joined us for lunch at Café Imperio where 10 of us had a very good meat and liquid lunch.
