Vegetarian at 'Casa Velha do Pescador'

Our vegetarian daughter came out to Cvo recently for her birthday and this raised the question, "Where do we take her for dinner?"
We took her to 'Via Italia' on Rua Povo do Burro. It was good and she enjoyed the meal. OK.
Next night we took her to 'Casa Velha do Pescador' out in Benigil. She had 'Vegetarian Risotto with Mushrooms in a Cream Sauce'.
Well, she hasn't stopped talking about it yet. On a scale of 100, she gave it 150!
The best vegetarian meal she ever had.
Anyone looking for a veggie restaurant, this is the place to go. The only drawback is that you need a car! (or take a taxi, it's worth it) It's out at the end of Estrada do Farol. See free map.

Is this the tiny old fisherman's cottage set up on the hill on the left hand side as you go down towards the beach?? If so I would agree with your daughter a great place for food especially vegetarian. Our eldest daughter is also veggie and had a wonderful meal there.
