Mona Lisa

Having just returned from a fantastic weeks holiday in Carvoeiro I would like to recommend the Mona Lisa restaurant. I have just had a quick look through the restaurants section and can't see any mention of it. If anyone is looking for a really good Italian restaurant this is a must - the garlic bread is to die for!

Mona Lisa is a restaurant that SHOULD be good, but for some reason misses it's potential. Food isnt bad, bit pricey for where it is. Shame because its within an easy walk of our house!

y friendly and food wonderful. The only draw back was the parking but aside from that great value for money.

Am coming out in a couple of weeks and would like to try some new restaurants. Where is the Mona Lisa /

Hi Maurice

Mona Lisa Pizzeria is at Vales Centianes on the main road just outside of Carvoeiro. It has won several culinary awards and worh a visit. We are booked to go to the Algarve next year - staying at Clube Atlantico - and will be visitng Mona Lisa again for sure. We were delighted to see the Manx flag flying just outside! If you have accommodation nearby you might want to get a take out. Also went to A Rede Restaurante which is at the top end of Estrada do Farol road coming up out of Carvoeiro on the left hand side. There ae so many places to choose from but fortunately on the one occasion we decided to eat in Carvoeiro we chose well. Fantastic portuguese steaks and very child friendly. Have a great holiday.
