Jophil Bar

Post by smudger »

Been for lunch twice since arriving week or so ago. Both times selected from their daily menu (not written down, you’re told what they serving that day). Day 1 picked roast chicken leg rather than octupus rice and something else. Day 2 picked turkey over cod or fish fillets. Price €8.50 includes bread, butter, sardine paste, olives, dessert, coffee and half litre wine. Main course comes with chips, rice and salad. Diners vary from local tradesmen to golfers to business sorts!
For those unaware where Jophil is located, it’s about 80m from Rosa’s Bar up by the water tower in Sesmarias.
