Entreaguas seafood grill

Post by wedgepat »

Has anybody tried the above grill near to De Borla at Parchal? I had a look inside and it looked good with good range of fresh fish.

We went there last Wednesday to try it out. Very typical Portuguese menu and decor. There was a nice display of fresh fish just inside so you can choose. I had beef portuguese style and you get a choice of rump or sirloin steak in it. Steak was lovely and tender and well cooked and presented. Prices were what you would expect in a typical portuguese (not tourist) restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and spoke good english but he was not classically trained as a waiter if you understand what I mean.

They do 2 daily special meal deals at €8.50 and have fado nights as well.

Overall it was a good experience - not haute cuisine but good honest value for money food.

We will return, especially if it remains open all year around.
