Chicken and Friends
Chicken and Friends
This restaurant in Ferragudo seems to offer a bargain at € 6.95 for an unlimited buffet.
Don't be fooled - for this price you get unlimited food from the buffet but the choice (particularly when considering how many chicken recipes there are) is pretty dire.
We went on Saturday and had a choice of plain grilled chicken, grilled chicken in a watery honey sauce with sweet potato, pork sausage, scraggy pork chops, chicken nuggets, a few vegetables and a very limited unexciting salad bar. Everything else is charged extra and our bill for 2 buffets, a bottle of water and 2 desserts was € 19.70.
For € 0.30 more you can get a full 3 course meal with drinks and coffee at other establishments.

We usually go to Portarade and have a very good meal.

So do we - we do like to experiment in the interests of other 'forumers' !!
Re: Chicken and Friends
We too find Portarade excellent.
Re: Chicken and Friends
To be fair my €0.30 was compared to Ponto do Encontro - Portarade would be € 9.30 more but still well worth it

Ponto do Encontro is fantastic and just around the corner from our villa.
