MaJa's
Just had a wonderful St. George's Day special at MaJa's. Absolutely first class as usual. Thanks Mark and Jan, you never disappoint.

Really enjoy this place everytime we are over, food is always excellent and is equally matched by the friendly service.

Thought I'd seen an advert or a post somewhere that restaurant was for sale? Anyone with an update?

They have been trying to sell it for some time and move on to pastures new.
Re: MaJa's
Our restaurant went on the market in June of this year. It was always our 10 year plan to put the restaurant up for sale at this time to enable us to move on to pastures new. In the meantime we are more than happy to continue to run the restaurant as we have been for the last 10 and a half years. Therefore the restaurant remains open as usual - rest assured this forum will be one of the first to know when we do sell. All best wishes Jan & Mark xxlogicbob wrote:smudger wrote:Thought I'd seen an advert or a post somewhere that restaurant was for sale? Anyone with an update?

Long may you reign in CVO, as you are all so lovely along with the fantastic food, ambience and yourselves as perfect hosts.
CVO would not be CVO if you were to leave and find pastures anew
However we all wish you luck on what you have in mind for your future, happiness and well being

We second this, a bit of Carvoeiro institution at this point and one of our favourites. Service is second to none and the food is perfect, but as the others say we wish Mark and Jan all the best with their plans. Great people and great restaurant!SJ & RE wrote:Long may you reign in CVO, as you are all so lovely along with the fantastic food, ambience and yourselves as perfect hosts.
