Restaurante Girassol, Parchal
Restaurante Girassol, Parchal
We went for lunch here yesterday and had bread & olives, the offer of soup, then a choice of about 4 meat and 4 fish dishes (Mark had pork and I had dourada), choice of dessert (Mark had chocolate and strawberry cake, I had biscuit cake), coffee and a drink for €7,50 each. A very typical Portuguese restaurant that deserves a mention on here even though not in Carvoeiro.
If you are in Lidl's car park, turn right to go into Parchal, over the roundabout and the restaurant is there on the right hand corner. Probably best to park in Lidl's as no parking outside.
Hope this is not seen as free advertising as we, as other people on this forum are just trying to let people know what is happening and what is available around the area.

Hope you and Gary are OK. Of course, I will come and pick up the blankets etc. Just let us know when you arrive and we can arrange a convenient time.

If anyone wants to donate anything to the dog home and is leaving it at majas you can post a reply here and i'll go around and pick it up - i go there quite often so no problem at all to deliver it. Plus it'll give me an excuse to have some Cajun spiced batatas bravas served with garlic mayonnaise and then a A short-crust deep filled pie served with fresh vegetables and mature cheddar mash or thick cut chips.

Tee hee - by the way Jasam, having been in CVO for many years and passing by Sajam's restaurant and never popped in, can I just have a beer at lunchtime/early afternoon?Ma-Ja's wrote: Love Jasam

Hi, you are more than welcome to pop in for a beer, however Jaam's does not open until 5pm or midday on a Sunday so not at lunchtime I am afraidHampshireRich wrote:Tee hee - by the way Jasam, having been in CVO for many years and passing by Sajam's restaurant and never popped in, can I just have a beer at lunchtime/early afternoon?Ma-Ja's wrote: Love Jasam
