O Pescador - new owner!
That's the one at the top of the hill just past Benagil beach.7
It used to be one of our favourites. A traditional Portuguese semi-up market welcoming restaurant.
New owners (ex-Onze) have revamped it entirely.
Decor is new modern minimalist white nothingness.
Service is anonymous efficient.
Food is text book smart modern. Medium towards expensive price.
Our party of 4 had a variety of items from the menu - all were happy.
My incredibly fresh Bream was excellent as I would have expected at €30.00 !
I wish I could either rave or rant, but the best I can come up with is "good but lacks character or individuality".
Maybe its because I'm a bore, or maybe this is what you want?
p.s. Not vegetarian friendly.

So, Richard, does Onze now have new owners?

You've been moderated, so hardly a credible critic.e-richard wrote:

I warmly welcome the new Pescador to the very short list of restaurants in the Carvoeiro area that are worth eating in. They offer quality, simpatia and value for money with a great view and nice décor to boot.
