Rosa's bar (cafe sesmarais)

Post by tricky »

I noticed today that Rosa's bar has started serving food since we were last here.
Its a varitable culinary delight, with egg and bacon rolls, hamburgers and hot dogs, I think they do a mean Bifana as well.
I expect a revue of this shortly by one of the regulars, its a must.

Hi alf1956,

Rosa's is near the watertower at Sesmarias, which is on the road from Lagoa to Ferragudo.

Seem to be popular with groups of golfers who gravitate their rather than pay the prices at the local golf clubs.

A favourite haunt of mine is Rosa's Bar. Very popular with local workies popping in at about 4pm for a beer/brandy and bica on way home. Yes, golfers pay a visit. I'm sure there is a group who have Rosa's Bar on their golf shirts!!! Seem to recall that the Carvoeiro Forum regualrs went to Rosa's for a get-to-gether on Saurdays. Food is fairly basic.
