Re: Gosto
yes give it a go as we have not had a bad meal yet after several visits&if you try the taster menu&there is something on there you dont like they will change it for you.if you want to go up a level(in my opinion) we always go to la bela vita over at club atlantico at least once when we come over as the food is superb ,we have surf&turf which consists of a lovely peice of fillet steak&i tiger prawn butterflied with salad&potato gratin me being a tiger prawn addict i always order 1 extra!we dont bother with a starter as the chef always sends you a little starter dish FOC!we dont have desert after either as we are quite full but we have had them in the past&they are also superb.

Hi Sam, I know I am not Tricks, but to my knowledge Jo is not opening the Très Macacoes bar this year but don't quote me on that one! If you are heading over to Ferragudo, there is a relatively new bar ran by Sergio and Kelly called Icone opposite Velho Novo restaurant that is worth a visit. Hope you are well. Hiya Sam and Jan!
Yes I was going to say the same. The new bar opened last year and was really good, but not seen any sign of it re-opening this year, but it is obviously not, which is a shame. The new bar opposite Vello Nuvo sounds worth trying (if I can tear myself away from the lovely boys at Vello Nuvo ) we are over next week too so mighb bump into you
