At last! We will be opening at our New location in Quinta da Boa Nova (on the coast road from Sesmarias, Carvoeiro towards Ferragudo, after the Island Cafe, when you come to the small roundabout, signposted Ferragudo, as you come off the roundabout, take the first right, down the hill and we are on the Boa Nova Resort, by the Pool. We open on Saturday 3rd December in the evening, and Sunday 4th December for lunch from 1 - 6pm! Hi Charles,no not this year, unfortunately we had already made plans to go back to UK for Christmas and New year to see our daughters and children. We close from the 22nd Dec and will re open on the 9th January. Our December opening hours are a little eratic I'm afraid, as we had already signed up for a number of events prior to finding out that we had definitely secured the new place.

We have been twice to the Boa Nova resort and could'nt find it do you have any signage We found the Pool.

Very nice restaurant, both the surroundings and food. We were there today and the menu is very good and plentiful. Prices are reasonable and service exceptional. Not many customers as the signage to get there is not the best but should be rectified shortly.
Best directions would be to go through Sesmaries and keep heading for Ferragudo. Go past Island Cafe to the roundabout and turn left (to Ferragudo) take the first turning right and turn right at the bottom of the hill. You should be at the pool (on the right) park at the bottom and follow the signs.

Drove round Boa Nova for ages today trying to find the smokehouse. Parked where suggested but saw no signs.
Might try again another day.

It is easy to find, just go through the gates into the pool area, the cafe is in the main building.

Just noticed that quite a few people have had a bit of a problem trying to The Smokehouse!! Temporary signs were in place last weekend - 4 in total but someone chose to tear them down - ah well. Once signage has been approved with the CAMRA, shouldn't be a problem.

The directions on website are pretty good (according to people who have used them already) - but it can be a little confusing once you get off the road onto the resort itself. As you come down the hill onto the resort, passing a wooden hut on the left, the road bends, you will see two buildings ahead with "Domes" on them, the pool is to the side of these buildings. Go past 2 laybys** on your right, then turn RIGHT, (on the left, there is building in progress with a big purple BANIF sign on it ) half way down you will see a GREEN gate on the right, this is the entrance to the Pool area, The Smokehouse is in the second building ,with tables and chairs outside. Drive to the car park at the bottom and walk up the hill. ** For disabled access park in the first layby and go down the ramp provided to access The Smokehouse from here.

Hi EMM the DELI side isnt open as such yet, however,take away food is available - so whatever you want, give JK a call and it will be ready for you..
