The food is normally pretty good although the chef lacks personality - no swearing, no throwing plates, no shouting at the wife etc.
We went today and were very pleased for them insofaras the place was heaving and, in the words of the mighty chef Mr. Ramsey, the Sunday lunch was f...ing great  .

Spoke to Jan via email the other day as we are out in November (correct me Jan if I'm wrong) she mentioned that Ma Ja's will be open 4 days a week over the winter Thursday through to Sunday, (Sundaty lunch is a must for us) maybe Jan can confirm as from when they intend doing the shorter weeks.

Oh believe me Roy - the chef does do the swearing, throwing plates and definitely shouting at the wife - I have just told him to do it under his breath now :D

With regards to opening over the Winter - yes we will be, but as Gaynor said we will only open Thursday to Sunday inclusive with effect from the beginning of November up until the week before Christmas. We will then be open every day over Christmas and New Year up until Sunday 9th January when we will close for our holidays.
