Was hoping this place was going to be open for june/july - just my luck!
Not so much for the food... just the 2,3 or 4 beers!

It must be good ´cos I saw a table of four go in at 13:00 and they were still there at 19:00 ordering another bottle of wine  :D :D !!!

No, it wasn't our table. I popped back about 18:30 to lanchar!!!

We visited last Friday evening. Two other English couples and a Portuguese couple plus Biffa's 1st Darling and party. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and warm on a chilly evening.

A number of the menu items were not available because they had sold out at luchtime so I fell back on the old standby of Calde Verde and Chicken Piri Piri. Very tasty indeed. My wife had grilled prawns and lamb chops. The former were unfortunately overcooked but were knocked off the bill without having to ask. Lamb chops were excellent. House wine was very acceptable and the bill was modest. Very friendly owner who made us feel welcome. We will certainly go back.

never had a bad meal yet, but I've only eaten at lunchtime. Oh, I tell a lie we ate there on Friday but Pedro (the owner) decided what we ate, it was still very nice.

The bifanas (pork sandwich) are REALLY good

Had a meal at this restaurant last week - very impressed.
Very reasonable prices, good quality food and excellent service. I think the meal for 2 cost us about 34 euros. House wine, bottle of water, couvert, main course plus coffees. :D
It seems to be very busy at lunch times with locals having the 'prato do dia'!
Dave.

Well from my very limited Portuguese I think it means 'Point of the meeting', so I suppose in other words the place to meet. Which is quite nice.

Ah - yes, that sounds right.

Also, another question! I believe it only opened last Oct/Nov, what was the restaurant (building) before then?
